Residential Services - Certificates of Compliance
A Chartered Building Surveyor can supply you with a Certificate of Compliance certifying that the Current Building Regulations and the conditions of grant of planning permission have been complied with. In order to ensure compliance with both planning and building regulations matters regular site inspections are required during the coarse of the works.
The primary responsibility for compliance rests with Designers, Builders & Building Owners. There are heavy penalties including fines & imprisonment for breaches of the Regulations! In addition when it comes to selling your property you may have difficulties if you cannot satisfy the purchaser’s solicitor that the requirements of the Building Regulations and Planning have been met.

- Part F Ventilation (2002)
- Part G Hygene (1997)
- Part H Drainage & Waste Disposal (1997)
- Part J Heat Producing Appliances (1997)
- Part L Conservation of Fuel & Energy (2002)
- Part M Access for the Disabled (2000)
