R Crosbie and Associates has assisted agents and landowners selling large estates with the preparation of property folio maps for attaching to contracts for sale. 

 

The process can involve visiting the premises and identifying the physical boundaries with the owner altering boundaries to suit the current situation on the ground.  From time to time, land holdings are altered as a result of compulsory purchase orders to facilitate to road widening or in some cases the construction of new roads through premises.  Also old folio maps are required to be compared with the owners understanding of legal boundaries.  During the drafting of folio maps R Crosbie and Associates are generally required to liaise with the landowner’s solicitor.

 

Most recently R Crosbie and Associates assisted a large independent estate agency with drafting folio maps for two large country estates in Kildare.
