Rory Crosbie, Director
Rory qualified as a Chartered Building Surveyor in November 1996, having studied Building Surveying BSc (Hons) at John Moore’s University in Liverpool.
After graduating, Rory worked as part of the Building Surveying Department of Dublin Estate Agents, Hamilton Osborne King for 16 months. On the strength and variety of surveying experience he gained during his stay at the firm, Rory qualified as a Chartered Building Surveyor in 1997.
In 1997 Rory moved to London to develop his knowledge base working as an Associate Director of independent Chartered Building Surveying Firm Watts and Partners. During his three and half years there, Rory worked under a number of the firm’s Partners on a variety of commissions ranging from Railtrack Property and Westminster Local Authority Housing Association work to the Project Management of commercial inner city projects, including the €80 million Raffles Hotel Project.
An opportunity arose in 2000 for Rory to return to Watts and Partners in Dublin to assist in the development of the firm’s Dublin Practice. In the 18 months period spent at the Dublin Office, Rory developed the essential skills required to manage Watts’ successful private firm. So much so that Rory decided to establish his own private practice in February 2002, R Crosbie and Associates.
Since establishing R Crosbie and Associates Rory has enjoyed developing the successful practice that R Crosbie and Associates has become and in particular, creating a direction and environment for his staff to develop and grow to benefit of the firms clients.
